Wednesday, February 17 - Ash Wednesday Observance - 6:00-6:30pm
Join us in the sanctuary for a service in observance of Ash Wednesday. A poverty meal of beans and rice will be served at 5pm, followed by the service in the sanctuary at 6pm. Wednesday night small groups will be able to meet following the service at 6:30pm.

Saturday, February 20 - Women Alive Lenten Labyrinth - 10:00am
Women are invited to experience a time of prayerful quiet and meditation as we begin the Lenten season. Rev. Randa Norman and Rev. Karen Slater will facilitate this time of prayer and reflection. Lunch will conclude the morning. Childcare provided. Find out more...

Sunday, February 21 - FC Student Ministries Parent/Volunteer Lunch - 12:30pm
We’re looking ahead and trying to see what we can do in terms of leadership development in the life of the student ministry. Right after church we'll serve lunch and then have some fun. Ending time will be 2:30pm. We’ll look at things such as some re-visioning for 2010, areas of need, small groups launch dates, and more. We’ll also be doing some “training." It will be good old fashioned fun training so don’t let that word scare you away. We need our adults, we need our parents, we need our volunteers, all in order to continue ministry to our students. All of those who help on a regular basis can testify that it’s a need, and one that can be met while having fun. So, this meeting is for all parents and volunteers, but if you’re a parent who hasn’t been involved in volunteering, please consider being at this meeting for that reason. Maybe God will call you to do something crazy and fun!

Wednesday, March 3 - Overflow Prayer Service - 6:00-7:00pm
We invite you to join us for a time of genuine refreshment in worship and prayer. You'll be blessed and First Church will be strengthened as we learn to seek God together.

Stroke screening will be offered in Harris Hall.
