Sunday, March 28 - Palm Sunday
First Church offers two worship options: a traditional worship experience at 8:30am, and contemporary worship at 11:00am. Sunday classes meet at 9:45am.
Thursday, April 1 - Maundy Thursday Commuion - 7pm
We invite our church family and the downtown community to attend this traditional service of communion as we remember the words of Jesus and his ultimate sacrifice for our sins.
Friday, April 2 - "Because of Good Friday" - 7pm
“Because of Good Friday” will be an introspective look at the hope we have in Christ because of Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross. What was your life like before you met Christ? How did meeting Him change your life forever? If you don't know Christ, could this be your moment to invite Him into your life? Join us as we thank God for his gift of eternal life that could only be a reality through the despair of Good Friday.
Sunday, April 4 - Resurrection Sunday!
Easter Sunday offers three worship experiences: Sunrise Service (east portico) at 6:30am; Breakfast in Harris Hall at 7:30am; Traditional Worship at 8:30am; Contemporary Worship at 11:00am. Sunday classes meet at 9:45am.
For the Kids - Holy Week Through the Eyes of a Child
Kids (K thru 5th Grade) are invited to experience the events of Jesus' final days portrayed through kid-friendly dramas.
Thursday, April 1 - The Living Last Supper - 7pm
Experience what it was like to become a disciple of Jesus and hear the exciting tale of his last days on earth.
Friday, April 2 - Twas the Time Before Easter - 7pm
This Good Friday drama will capture the attention of all with it's inspirational message of salvation through Jesus' crucifixion.
Easter Sunday, April 4 - The Cross Comes to Life - 9:45-10:45am
Be there as a stark, bare cross is transformed into a blossoming creation and we forget words of mourning and turn them into words of hope and triumph through the empty tomb!
