Welcome to Beach Party!

Vacation Bible School at First Church is going to be a Beach Party Blast! And you won't want to miss all the fun and celebrating as we surf through the Scriptures and catch a wave in the Son!

The FC Beach Party will take place June 22 through the 25, 6:30-8:30pm each evening, and will conclude with a family dinner on Thursday, June 26, at 6:30pm (please register online for this meal). On this evening the kids will share what they learned all week, and we'll enjoy a great meal together! Lots of fun activities, snacks, songs, games, crafts, and more are planned! Register in the plaza Sunday morning or register online. You can also register online to be a VBS volunteer!

In an effort to keep our expenses down, we are asking for the congregation’s help in donating items to be used in decorating the church and transforming it into a summer beach party! If you are able to purchase any of the items listed below, or if you would like to let us borrow them (please label clearly with your name) it would be greatly appreciated! Items can be left at the first floor kids’ check-in desk. If you have any questions please contact Jenni O’Neil or Jan Chapman.

Items needed: inflatable toys (beach balls, rafts, small swimming pool, etc.), sand buckets/shovels, sea shells, patio furniture, surfboards, balloons, ribbon, sand, grass skirts, straw sun hats, Frisbees, surf décor, sunglasses, volleyball net/ball, tarps (brown), beach umbrellas, tiki torches, lobster cages, air pump, leis, flamingos, tiki hut, palm trees (inflatable, real, or pictures).
