This Lent, we’re slowing down.
Join us for a new sermon series, "Following Jesus: Walking Closely with Our Lord", as we take a slow walk with the disciples and rediscover what it really means to follow Jesus, then and now.
In the first century, following a rabbi meant more than listening. It meant walking behind him, learning his way of life, and staying close enough to be covered in the dust of his feet. This season, we’ll journey through familiar stories with fresh eyes - practicing attentiveness, repentance, trust, prayer, and fasting as we learn to stay close to Christ, even when the way is costly.
Lent is our training season. Let’s walk with Jesus all the way to the cross, trusting that His way leads to life.

Holy Week at First Church
From celebration to surrender, from the cross to the empty tomb, Holy Week is the week that tells the heart of our faith. Together we’ll remember Jesus’ love, reflect on His sacrifice, and celebrate the hope of resurrection.
