This scripture outlines the principles of the Small Group Ministry at First Church. Small Groups are at the core of the First Church family. First Church believes that Small Group Ministries are a foundational way that we grow closer in our relationship with Jesus Christ. Jesus shows us the way relationships in small groups are to be done as he continually gathers the disciples together to preach, teach, admonish and build them up to go out and share the Good News. John Wesley encouraged each person to be actively involved in a small group that would bring accountability to each others lives on a weekly basis. The expectation for First Church members is to be active in an ongoing small group process. There is a small group available to you. Some small groups meet weekly and others twice a month. Small groups are always being formed as the small groups reach out to others in their sphere of influence and grow. We encourage you to look over the small groups listed below and find a small group that fits your schedule. Mary Nethercutt is our small group representative and will be encouraging the small groups as we continue to look for ways to grow in our faith.
